Founded in 2017 by a pair of operators and engineers, Great Basin Capital Partners is an independent, founder-aligned venture firm. We write first checks of $2–8M into seed and Series A rounds, and we lead about half of them. We don't chase momentum; we chase character.
We make 8–12 investments per fund. Every name on our list is one we'd defend at a partner meeting in five years.
